Meet Up
Hold a virtual meeting to discuss your needs in further depth and draft the brief. If you have a brief that you’d want me to use, you can share.
Quote and Proposal
Based on our discussion of the brief, I’ll proceed to generate a quote and proposal for your review. Timelines and budgets for completing the project as planned will be included here. I’m including a copy of my terms and conditions, or you may share yours as well.
Go Ahead and Deposit
For new clients, I ask for a 50% deposit, payable before work begins.
Research
Then, I will immediately begin working on the project in accordance with the schedule we just established. Usually, I start by doing some background research on the brand, product, its market, and its competitors. I’ll be in touch if I need anything else from you for my studies.
First Draft & Revisions
I will email the first draft to you for editing as soon as it is finished. Don’t worry if you don’t like what I present first, because small revisions are typically included in the fee. If you request any major changes or a rewrite beyond the second draft, I’ll need to charge you an hourly fee and let you know how much it will cost before I perform any further work.
Final Copy & Payment
Once we have received your final approval, I will give you the final copy and an invoice for the remaining balance. My invoice terms are NET 7 DAYS. The copy is completely yours to do with as you choose after the final invoice has been paid!
